In this workshop, fresh pasta will be made from scratch with good flour, organic eggs, and proper oil. They get cooked Carbonara with good quality bacon and Parmigiano Reggiano Parmesan cheese. Traditionally, without cream but with good organic eggs. From boiling pasta, grating the cheese, cracking the egg, and frying the bacon. They will do everything themselves.
On the way, they will also learn the difference between real and processed cheeses and different types of chicken and chicken egg production.
Chopping away the mirepoix, either carrot, onion, celery is a great introduction to knife skills for Bolognaise. Understand where their meat comes from and how our proteins of choice impact our environment.
