SAY NO TO PLASTIC

Wax Wraps, Banana Leaves & Fabric Folding, Smoked Rice Biscuits

There are many alternatives to plastic—and we’re not fans of biodegradable plastics either. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make reusable cling film, also known as wax wraps, that can be used repeatedly for various purposes.

Discover the traditional wisdom of using banana leaves for wrapping food, whether for cooking or eco-friendly packaging. You’ll also explore the art of Japanese fabric folding and learn how to transform cloth into stylish, functional carriers—so even if you forget your shopping bag, you’re still prepared.

To top it off, we’ll upcycle leftover cooked rice into Khao tuu—a traditional Thai smoked rice biscuit that reflects the spirit of zero-waste cooking.
